literally the best war film/movie of all time. the Pacific is good too but BoB is just amazing and feels so up close and personal. the Pacific was a little wider scope. I really hope masters of the air comes out before I'm dead. been waiting for that show since like 2015 when I started hearing about it back when it was going to be called the mighty eighth and be on HBO.

I had to find my DVDs & re-watch it in August 2021. Turns out it was the 20th anniversary of my dads death which I forgot. 20 years. He landed on Normandy beach the boat was hit & split in 2. he Ran to the beach. He swore they had to give them drugs beforehand. Now we know they did. We had no idea what they had been through. Why he preferred not going to the beach. All we knew is he almost married a women named Helga. His friends stopped a marriage in Germany. I wish he was alive there is so much I would ask now.

Tom's interview doesn't sound bad at all. he's clearly just zooming in or calling. sounds just fine for not being in the studio.
